  • Alphas in Beta Mode
For decades, the media, social researchers, and industry have been fixated on labelling emerging generations of people based on the decades they were born in; and their cultural proclivities. This gave us Generation X, Generation Y (aka Millennials), and most recently; Generation Z - the generation of people born in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
  • Making social media very personal…in a cluttered period
WestCharge tapped into a simple human insight. During the festive season, India as a country regards sending and forwarding of festival greetings as a very important action to be complied with. It serves as a social leveler, a networking gesture or even a commercial diplomatic tactic.
  • The Wireless Charging Revolution
Workspace needs and wants have rarely witnessed a change as tumultuous as this since 1913 when Henry Ford changed industrial production forever by installing the first ever assembly line. With workers, and largely, human beings performing all roles of life, relying increasingly on electronic devices for survival, the need for power has become an existential one.
  • Charge up the lives in need
They say, charity begins at home. At WestCharge, every time you charge your phone at any of our charging stations, we will donate a rupee to all the flood relief initiatives across the country.
  • Safe and Hygienic Power in Hospitals
Health is unpredictable. Be it our own, or that of a loved one – there is no way of predicting when you need a hospital’s services. When there’s plenty to keep your mind occupied, why have your phone act as a hindrance?
  • Sustainability at WestCharge
WestCharge is a company that creates a wireless charging ecosystem for its customers at various touchpoints throughout the day. We aim to solve a customer’s common anxiety of being powerless on smartphones and other devices in a safe and convenient way. Having a product that interacts directly with a consumer, we ensure that our business model is sustainable in every possible way.
  • Engaging millennials with power
Smartphone use in the modern era is often discussed under a very negative light. “He never stops playing PUBG”, or “She’s always on Facebook, even when she’s spending time with her family”, or “These kids just look at memes, they never learn anything”.
  • Re-inventing mobile charging for the modern workforce
The modern millennial is on the go, with offices and entertainment hotspots taking up a major chunk of the day. This means that places of social engagement have seamlessly integrated into office spaces and vice-versa, giving new meaning to the term “work-life harmony”.
  • A wireless future
It’s 2019. It’s time to step up your charging game and get rid of cables. Yes, we can finally get rid of those tangled nests and make charging more convenient by going wireless. Gone are the days of carrying cables and bulky portable chargers wherever you go. Gone are the days of frayed, worn-out, ugly cables.
  • Make in India: An Electronics Manufacturer’s Perspective
In 2014, the Indian Government launched one of Asia’s largest state sponsored manufacturing initiatives – the “Make in India” programme, with a view to boost manufacturing’s share in India’s GDP, and to make India a global manufacturing hub. India’s business community (including the team at WestCharge) greeted the programme with open arms – manufacturing helps low income countries such as ours transition to middle income and eventually, high income countries. It was heartening to see Indian policymakers embracing this impetus for economic growth.
